About Carl Bruiners

I specialise in all things Agile and getting things ‘done’ and delivered.

I originally started my working journey as a developer who progressed into a development manager and then decided that the area I could add the most value was helping teams form and become strong teams by maximising their efficiency and productivity, this was the moment, at the cross roads, I decided to change the road I was heading down, I saw the Agile wagon (reasonably empty at the time) took a risk and jumped on board.

It was a friend who 6 years ago changed my view on my own career targets when I asked him what he did as a job and his reply was that he ‘got sh*t done’ that was it. Ever since then I strive to not only implement and maximise my Agile teams, but to help make teams grow to become more than they are, and to ultimately to make sure they get their ‘sh*t done’

I like working in challenging environments; problem teams, budget constraints, technology constraints and using my team empowering way of working to improve the deliveries of the teams beyond expectation.

In my own time I enjoy a range of things; supporting the blues, playing various sports, playing with the kids, eating out and hanging out with friends. I’m not the normal stereo-typical IT geek, but I do have the ability to ‘talk’ geek when needed to better understand a problem
